Gamblers Anonymous
Gamblers Anonymous and Gam-Anon are international organizations that allow groups of individuals to discuss feelings and share experiences related to their own (Gamblers Anonymous) or someone else’s (Gam-Anon) gambling. They can provide:
- A safe environment to express feelings and work through problems
- Non-judgmental feedback, encouragement, and support from individuals facing similar issues
- A sense of belonging, friendship, and break from isolation
- A new way of looking at problems
- Information about other sources of help and recovery (e.g., counsellors, literature, etc.)
